I think Mr. Gibson should take a break from showbiz for a little while, give himself and his audience some time to collect their thoughts. Especially their thoughts about each other. No one in Hollywood that anyone has interviewed has said they think Mel should be reprimanded or anything, because they don't want to get on his bad side. No one wants to be accused of falsely accusing Mel or burning bridges or whatever. Which basically means anyone can get away with anything if you bring in the bucks. The reality is that this will not cause Mr. Gibson to lose his audience. He probably thinks the Jews are responsible for the Hurricane Katrina's destruction, too.
