Weird... My mom had a colostomy and still had her rectum but she pooped in a bag. I remember the day that she had a "movement" while on the toilet and nearly passed out... no one told her that her colon would still produce mucus that she would poop out. She wanted to catch in a bag to take to the doctor.

Really it is much funnier than it sounds....
