Well, I'm not aware of any studies to that effect, but the idea is the same as porn objectifying women; it's not going to change the attitude of people who don't agree with the basic premise, mostly because they'll voluntarily limit their exposure to it, but it will serve to support and reinforce attitudes that people might have that depersonalize and objectify those classes of people.
