This letter is in the current issue of People Magazine. I tried to
find it online but apparently the website doesn't have letters to the
editor, so I am transcribing it. It is in response to a previous
issue about Lance Bass coming out. Believe me, just typing these
words was excruciatingly painful, but I thought it was important that
this group be aware of how outspoken some people are who feel this
way. I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know,
but the fact that people chose to print it indicates to me that they
are at least trying to give the appearance of representing all sides.
Not that that is a good thing.
Lance Bass can lead any knd of lifestyle he chooses, but he can't be a
homosexual AND a Christian, and he should not mislead others into
believing that he is at peace with God. Homosexuality is an
abomination to God. Loving and accepting people is what all of us
should do, but the Bible teaches us that the lifestyle Lance has
chosen is absolutely forbidden.
