NYC born and raised, and still here. I found Gene through Dave Barry, who (I think) my father introduced me to as a kid. On Dave's blog (which I don't read anymore), he had a link to "Gene W's Columns" so I started reading those and then found the chat, which i am now totally addicted to (along with run-on sentences, apparently).
