You have my deepest sympathies. Our cat of 12 years George died the
month before Cassie did and at the time it was the most painful
personal loss my husband ever experienced.
I live each day in fear that my cat, Winky, will be dead when I come
home. She is 16 and we have been through a lot together. She is one of
my dearest friends, my first child, and my comforter when I am sad.
I will rub Winky's head just a little longer tonight and think of your
sweet sweet kitty Maude. We will keep poor Harold in our thoughts.
