oh sweetie!!!! i'm so sorry!!! i lost my gomez to a strange illness 1 1/2 years ago - absolutely shattered my heart! i hate to say it, b/c i never ever thought i would get another cat, but i have a feeling getting a kitten will be huge help to Harold (i love it! harold and maude)even if you just want to foster one for a short period of time - i got my kitten Aristotle last feb and he's just the apple of my eye! i'll give him an extra hug tonite in maude's memory!
