I think your story is wonderful!!! I also thing it is MAJOR that you
were able to tell your finace that you were a little let down by the
proposal and he could explain why he did it the way that he did. You
could have stewed over it for YEARS and never heard his side of it.
Both of his responses make perfect sense to me and if I loved him I
would accept them as just the way he is....
If you keep up that communication you will have a long happy marriage....
