the magazine is available today in NYC and LA, Sept. 12 everywhere else. What's up with that? Is it really that hard to distribute a magazine nationwide all at once? Every other magazine manages to do it. Obviously it's because the magazine's offices are in NY and LA, but still--is it that normally it would come out on the 12th but there is such speculation that they are trying to rush it in cities where they can? I bet it will sell out in a day--the fastest selling issue ever! I actually like Vanity Fair but I don't subscribe--I buy it intermittently because I think it caters to people who have a slightly different lifestyle from mine.
