Ever see or hear the comic Kate Clinton? She has a whole riff on
Catholic hymns. "'Eat his body, drink his blood.' Catholic hymn --
or S&M anthem?" I think Kate is the one who originally coined the
term "recovering Catholic"; in any event, she certainly identifies
as one.
