I'll admit to partial ego-centric tendencies, but I've been pretty good about seperating writing from the self. I write a lot too, though not successful enough to get a book signing at Barnes and Nobel and a chat on WaPo.com, but, enough to know that a story's voice is simply originated from a thought, not always an environmental stimuli.
Now, if she writes a novel where the protagonist male is a 33 year old dude who looks like Sean Astin and makes killer pho, then I'd be a little concerned, sure. However, I didn't go to the book signing. I think I went to a Thai place in NoVA. - Ray --- In [email protected], "Ellen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Denise has a point. > > > --- In [email protected], "denisesudell" > <dsudell7781@> wrote: > > > > > > > > Ray, Ray, Ray, you don't want to date a writer.
