A guilty pleasure? I take pleasure in things I think are trashy (like
'How Do I Look?'), I take pleasure in things other people think are
trashy (like romance novels), I take pleasure in things people think I
should feel guilty about (like country music), but what do I take
pleasure in that I feel guilty about? (...it used to be Luke Wilson
movies, but "The Family Stone" cured that affliction.)
Okay, I feel a little guilty for having a mild obsession with
celebrity gossip. I don't want to look at the Lindsay crotch shots,
but I'm fascinated by the fact that people keep BEING ABLE TO TAKE
THEM. Like how hard is it to remember underpants? Or the fact that
you aren't wearing them?
That is my secret shame, that I can't rationalize no matter how hard I
try. I am a weak, weak excuse for a human being.
