I was in Barnes and Noble today and saw that George Bush Sr.'s
daughter (George W.'s sister) wrote a biography of her father that was
just published (called My Father, My President, in case you're
interested) and there are several pictures of George W. when he was
younger. The resemblance to Will Ferrell is amazing! I'm talking
about Ferrell when he is NOT imitating George W., just the way he
looks normally. Actually I think Ferrell looks like George W. NOW,
but his resemblance to George W. when George was the same age as
Ferrell is now is uncanny. It's almost like he was destined to do
spot-on impressions of him--he could just sit there silently and the
impression would work. Sometimes I think he didn't go looking for a
job doing impressions on SNL--the impressions found him or something
like that. I almost did a double take--I thought I was looking at
family pictures of Will Ferrell. You should check it out the next
time you're in Barnes and Noble. It's probably in Borders too but I
didn't see it there yet.
