Right I only would have cared if you had actually gone somewhere interesting like a safari in Africa or something. But that's cool-- your thesis is a novel! That means it we can actually read it maybe at some point. Writing a novel while you're in grad school is the way to go--you can devote all your time to it (theoretically).
