yeah, that's an interesting observation - i'm fat and when i get 
insulted, it usually starts with "you fat such and such..." - for 
some reason people think it's ok to make fun of fat people to their 
face without even knowing the person... i was in a crowded bar once 
and had to scoot around this guy standing in a group of other guys 
and he said loudly (loud enough for me to hear) "ugh, i just can't 
deal with fat girls tonite" - as if my being fat means that i don't 
have feelings or should be ashamed of what i look like (btw - i'm 
fat b/c i have a thyroid problem) - i've even had people i don't 
know come up to me in the street and say "you know, you'd be so cute 
if you just lost weight!"...
