The world's largest anime convention is held annually in Baltimore. The hotel that sells out the quickest is the Days Inn opposite the Convention Center/Camden Yards because
it's the cheapest. Might want to check it out.

Last year my son went while I took in an Orioles game. I couldn't face sharing a hotel with thousands of kids in costume (think Picachu and worse) sharing six to a room, so we stayed at the Harbor Court. We arrived at Saturday lunchtime and the lobby was crawling with the overflow costumed hordes together with serried ranks of Baltimore's finest standing next to printed signs that read "Do not approach the players, or else. You have been warned". As I stood there noodling through this bizarre warning, who should walk past but the entire Yankees team
on their way to the game. Apparently it's the visiting team hotel.

You probably had to be there, but you have my word as a gentleman, scenes don't come much
weirder.

Regards,
Tony

don't they usually suggest where to stay on the invitation?

The wedding and etc. is at the 1840s Ballroom on Front St. In Friday
evening, out Sunday afternoon. I was hoping there's be a good O's
game Friday but they're playing the Rockies. Ugh.
Saw a Tremont and another hotel near Camden Yards, but it's only a
place to rest my head so any dive'll do. I'm hoping one of the
bridesmaids will have a nicer place.

Yeah, the Fogo here is about a year old. I was in bliss the entire meal!

I'm a ex-pat Baltimoron. There's some fine choices down there, though many cater to the tourist/business crowd. Where's the wedding and receptions and all taking place?
