co-worker mentioned a crappy raise...now if I just had someplace to go to on
Monday I'd tell them to shove it! But I just can't go a day without pay.

They are going to raise premiums, give stingy raises, and no doubt shitty
bonuses if any. Without knowing the PTO (paid time off situation) I wouldn't be
surprised of that were stingy as well.
When you're hanging out lower on the economic ladder, cash is (generally) the
most effective means of showing value to your employees. Arguing differently
is a sign of people who fundamentally do not get your concerns and are not
interested in them.

They are supposed to let me know today-- I really wish I was in the
postion to tell them to shove thier offer if they tell me they can't
meet my request. I just can't support my family on what they
offered. I'd have to get a part time job and I am so sick of working
two jobs!
