Did any of you see a show that was at woolly mammoth about 10 years ago called "The Obituary Bowl"? It was a one-woman show with Nancy Robinette as a woman who would cut out obituaries and put them in a bowl and when she got bored, she would pull one out and read it. It was very good.
The show and this reminded me of how much I like to read obituaries in small-town papers. Some of the best were in the local Bozeman, Montana paper that I got when I was in Big Sky snowboarding one time. The two I remember best were for a guy who it stated "joined the army in order to see the world, but only got as far as Kansas" and a 101 year old woman who "attributed her longetivity to eating all her fruits and vegetables raw, including corn on the cob." Priceless. On 7/10/07, Daria Akers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > > > The end is especially touching.... > http://tinyurl.com/2uvjcs > >
