Picked it up this Sat at around 4. Read the first chapter in the mall
while waiting for a friend to finish furniture shopping. Went to a
party where I showed the Aeschylus quote in the beginning to a classics
prof I know. Got home from party at 10ish, read until 2. Got up at
7ish and finished the book by 2 pm, with stops to assist wife with
laundry.
Satisfying conclusion. Only one death I felt was truly unnecessary.
