Wipe that sucker clean. I'm assuming you're using windoze. It stashes 
copies of things all over the place. DL a program called winderstat (a 
free windows drive scanner) and you'll see what I mean. Your email is 
most likely stored somewhere. In Thunderbird it's in a folder called 
profiles which is independent of the program files. Don't know for sure 
about outlook and the others, but I'd bet it's in there somewhere. If 
you still have the recovery or install discs that came with the OS, you 
can do a clean re-install which will wipe your data somewhat. Keep in 
mind that all this really does is change the addressing of the files. 
The data is still there, it's just not addressed and those sectors of 
your drive are open to being overwritten. Until the data is actually 
overwritten, it's still there and can be accessed by someone with the 
skill and determination.

$200 is a fair price IMHO, but I doubt you'll get it for just a tower. 
Have you considered donating it to one of the computer rehab charitys? 
Then you could write off the $200.
