A post office van knocked over black terrier cross Sweetie in Park Hills. Its owner Glenda Stevens couldn't find a pulse and buried it. She found the dog digging itself out of the shallow grave in her garden and it's now recovering. Vet Mark Lucas said Ms Stevens should stop feeding it fatty scraps from the table. He described the dog as "a little bit obese". Ms Stevens said: "But she likes that baloney, don't you, Sweetie?" She refused to promise to stop feeding Sweetie with her table scraps. "We can't get by without that," she said. "She loves that baloney." Spanish king's corpse found with two heads... Forensic experts examining the mummy of a Spanish king have found two heads among the remains. Scientists were looking at the body of King Jaime I, who was known as El Conquistador, at Poblet Monastery. When they unwrapped the 13th century mummy they found two heads, both with a similar hole in the skull. DNA tests will now be carried out to find which of the heads really belongs to the late king of Valencia, reports the Costa Blanca News. A physicist from Bristol University claims he has found the perfect formula for ice cream. Dr Peter Barham claims pouring liquid nitrogen over the mixture will perfect the dessert. He has worked ceaselessly to create the perfect taste, testing and tasting the mixtures which will be unveiled at a special seminar next week. "To get ice cream right, the size of the ice crystals, the fat particles and the air bubbles have to be the right size," he told The Daily Record. "By adding liquid nitrogen it cools it very rapidly and you have instant ice cream perfectly made every time."
