Police are trying to trace a burglary suspect using a
watercolour artist's impression painted at an amateur
evening class. The mystery man is accused of stealing
a pensioner's handbag and later breaking into her home
after sitting next to her at the Sussex art class. Class
members helped tutor Jane Dwight paint the artist's
impression in the hope someone will be able to
recognise him.
Maggots were born in the noses of two comatose patients
in a Missouri hospital. They came from flies which had
originally infested dead mice in the canteen area of the
hospital. The details of the incident which happened four
years ago have only been released in a medical journal
report.
A woman who had her dead dog transported by plane for
burial was surprised when she picked it up apparently alive.
Officials at Bucharest's Otopeni airport didn't realise the
dog was already dead before it arrived. They thought
they'd face legal action as they mistakenly thought it
had died while in their care.
A man who's previously attacked Bill Gates with a cream
pie has repeated the trick with a French presidential candidate.
Noel Godin thrust a pineapple-flavoured cream tart in Jean-
Pierre Chev�nement's face at a Paris book fair. He's planning
to write a book called Cream and Punishment.
