A French judge has been caught masturbating in court. The
un-named magistrate was seen masturbating in a court in
Angouleme. Three witnesses, a lawyer, a woman in the public
gallery and a journalist, all reported seeing the act. French
newspaper Charente Libre, whose reporter was among the
witnesses, said it happened as an attorney was pleading his case.
The witnesses confirmed they saw the judge raise his judicial
gown, open his trousers and "perform unmistakable movements".
French Justice Minister Dominique Perben has asked a judicial
council to review the case, officials confirmed.
A German man is to appear in court charged with teaching his
dog to give the Hitler salute. The black sheepdog-mix, named
Adolf, has been taught to lift his right front paw up straight in the
salute on command. Police were called to the scene in Berlin
when Roland T, 54, shouted at passers-by last year. When a
patrol arrived, he allegedly showed them the trick he had taught
his dog, gave the salute along with Adolf, and shouted: "Sieg Heil."
Now he has been charged with using symbols of unconstitutional
organisations. If found guilty, he faces up to three years in prison.
A US woman broke both legs when she jumped up and down to
complain about loud music in the flat below hers. Toni Lynn Lycan,
44, lost her temper when her neighbour in an apartment block
in Ridgefield, Washington, increased the volume of his stereo.
She shouted at Allen Haines, 27, to turn it down, but he grabbed
a broom and banged it on his ceiling. The infuriated Lycan then
jumped up in the air and slammed both feet on the floor - hard
enough to break both legs about four inches below the kneecap.
The injuries were discovered when police officers were sent to
the apartments.
