We did this.....and "checked" the send Email boxes but also the "receive
letter" (via email) so I can print it out as well and mail it in.
This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!!!! WHY would I want to pay for something I am
absolutely opposed to???
God help us -and the millions....BILLIONS of Babies this will affect!!
(notice it is even stating "International", which means we will be supporting,
through our taxes, abortion on demand here in the USA as well as abroad!!)
Please PLEASE stand up & be counted!!

failures, sins, and sufferings
so that I may move
forward in You. You have
forgiven me. I know this to
be true. For You have promised

Aren’t you glad we serve a
God of peace? No matter
what you may be facing in
life, God is with you.
You don’t ever have to feel
anxious, worried, or upset
because you have a
covenant of peace with Almighty
God. God is always
faithful to His Word, and you
can have confidence that
His peace is always available
to you. The Bible tells us
that God’s peace passes
understanding. That means
you can have peace when it
doesn’t make sense to have
peace. When the rest of the
world seems to be upset or
fretting, you don’t have to
be upset. When gas prices go
up, you can be at peace
knowing that God has promised
to supply all your needs
according to His riches in glory.
When the housing market
seems unstable, you can
trust that God is your refuge,
and He will cause you to
dwell in safety. He’ll make
a way where there seems
to be no way. Begin to thank
God for His peace and
faithfulness in your life.
Declare that the peace of
God rules in your heart and
mind. As you dwell on
God’s promises, your heart
will be at rest, and you’ll
experience the blessing of
His peace all the days of your life.
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank
You for Your covenant of peace.
I receive it by faith today.
I choose to keep my heart
and mind fixed on You.

Yet the Lord longs to be
gracious to you; he rises
to show you compassion.

I have longed for many things
over the years. When I was a
child, I longed for my daddy's
approval and praise. In high
school I longed for a date on
Friday night, good grades,
and graduation day with a
college acceptance letter.
After my accident, I longed
to be on my feet. My longings
nowadays are often pretty mundane,
such as hankering for a slice
of something sweet and
chocolaty after dinner.
Today's verse tells us what God
longs for; "The Lord longs to
be gracious to you." The word
'longing' is only used this way
twice in scripture - the other
time is when Jesus longed
to gather the people of
Jerusalem under his wings.
Notice something about
God's longings? They are
focused not on things, but
on people. His yearnings are
never directed inward or
self-focused, they are outward.
Never does he express a
longing to benefit himself.
His heart's desire is to benefit
his people that they might glorify him.
Oh, how unlike my yearnings
are from God's! Too often my
desires are about what I want
rather than what I desire to
see happen in others. How
often do I actually yearn for
God to be glorified and
his kingdom advanced?

The journey of the Christian
is to strive to be more and more
like God. Take a giant step
in that direction today by
asking the Lord to cleanse
and refine your longings.
A good place to begin is with
James 4:8 where it says,
"Draw nigh to God, and he
will draw nigh to you. Cleanse
your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts,
ye double minded (KJV).
Purify my heart, oh God, and place
within me a passionate
longing to know you better...
and to look out for the interests
of others before my own.
I long for you to be glorified
in my life... I desire for your
Gospel to go forth into the
world... I long for your soon return!

When God Hides His Face
I love the times when God is speaking and showing you things about Himself -
there is nothing better than that. It's a wonderful time and season in God. I
wish I could live in those seasons for eternity. But just as there are seasons
on earth - there are also seasons in the spirit.
Most of us would love to have spring or summer all year round. However, winter
is also necessary. It is part of the seasons of life.
Without winter, summer wouldn't be so appreciated. If you had summer all year
round, you would simply begin to take it for granted. So it is in the seasons
of God.
I had received an email a week or so ago from one of our readers who was
frantic because she felt God and His presence had left her. She had repented
and cried out to God but it seemed He was no where to be found.
She had found, as we all do at one time or another, that there are times when
God is not speaking to you - when God seems far away - when God seems to have
departed from you. There are times when God is silent.
Isaiah once declared 'surely you are a God who hides yourself.' David and Job
both cried out 'why do you hide your face from me?' The Jewish people called
this the Mask of Yahweh. When God Hides His face.
Does He hide His face because He is mad at you? Does He hide His face because
you have sinned or disappointed Him? Has He departed from you? No, the word
of God says that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore if God
departed from you He would be breaking His word and He never goes against His
word.
I think you can find a lot of insight about this side of God in the Song of
Solomon. She was seeking the One whom her soul loved and He kept eluding her.
When God hides His face it is for a purpose, He longs for you to seek Him out.
It will often feel like a dry and empty place but if you will press into God,
you will find Him in a way you have never known Him before.
Several months ago, God spoke something to me that I didn't understand; He said
'in my silence you will find my glory.' When He spoke this to me, it was at a
time where I was hearing from God daily and was experiencing a wonderful time
in His presence - it was a great season. Then it changed and I walked through
a winter season with God. It was quiet and silent and dry and I didn't hear
from God for a long period of time.
If that wasn't bad enough, things - challenging times began to hit my life -
one after another - I felt I desperately needed to hear from God and I cried
out to hear Him but all I got was silence.
I could have allowed that silence to stop me - but I didn't - I chose instead
to press in to God - to find Him in the silence - to find Him in the darkness -
I knew if I could find Him that He would illuminate my path and I could find my
way out of that season. I pressed. I didn't once think that God was mad at me
or had left me - I had been this way before. Instead I knew to pursue Him - to
seek for the one whom my soul loved - and I did. I found Him in the silence.
And in that silence I found a great peace. That peace began to invade my life
until I knew I had found Him.
In the silence, seek Him. In the silence, press into Him. Get your mind of
your challenges and get your mind on God. Remember, we are kept in perfect
peace...when our mind is stayed upon Him and we trust in Him.
He is right there - in the silence - when it seems dark - when you feel alone -
when you wonder if you messed up - when you feel you are lost - He is there -
waiting on you to pursue Him. Waiting on you to find Him and knowing that you
will. He knows you won't quit until you find Him - He knows you can't stop
until you find the One your soul loves...and then His mask comes off. And you
will behold Him face to face. When you behold Him, you will know, winter has
passed and spring has come.
