@Inject ignores activation of passivated stateful session beans

If a stateful session bean gets passivated and later on activated, then the
@Inject'ed fields are null.
The only workaround I found is: provide a method annotated with @PostConstruct
and make a JNDI lookup for "java:comp/BeanManager".
