EntityManagerProducer was @ApplicationScoped. It also had a @Disposes method to close the EM. Perhaps that makes a difference.
FYI, the project has changed significantly since I filed this bug, and the producer classes I talked about don't exist anymore. So I'm no longer getting these warnings and can't easily verify any fix.
