Martin Kouba edited a comment on WELD-1701   Re: @PreDestroy method throw WELD-000019 exception Well, the conversation context is only active during a servlet request (and not during HttpSessionListener.sessionDestroyed() notification). So you should not invoke a conversation scoped bean in the @PreDestroy method of another conversation scoped bean. However, you should get {{ContextNotActiveException}} instead of that {{IllegalStateException}}.  Let me check the code and run some tests.
