| Well the value is that people that accidently use a stereotype for their transactional observers to be able to rollback transactions on errors within the observer actually see a rollback. I think this is a pretty critical thing that can happen and is not intuitive at all. I understand the spec can not cover everything and that's not what I am asking for. Simply warning the user about this would be ok too, no need for a deployment error, although I'd favor a deployment error. The problem is that I was assuming it wouldn't make a difference regarding interceptors and Weld didn't complain about the usage. The only thing I noticed is that my exception didn't cause a rollback but a log message instead.
