Hi Craig,

Shane has pretty much hit the nail on the head :-). We are certified by 
WorldBlu. The team are asked to fill out a completely anonymous survey each 
year and if we reach a certain standard we are certified as a democratic 
workplace. In truth it's not really a destination, more of a 
journey/aspiration and the great thing about WorldBlu is that they provide 
support to improve the democratisation of your org as well as a large 
network of orgs at different stages of their democratic journey.

I feel that the adoption of Agile values has led us to being democratic and 
we are now actively working to become more democratic - but as you can 
imagine it's not simple or easy (most things that are good and worthwhile 
aren't :-).
