Hey people! I thought I would flick a message out as I figured someone might be interested in a patch I am working on for Celluloid. I have been working to fix the block scope leakage for some time now and could use a fresh set of eyes and a new brain.
Just this evening I got the ideas implemented on top of the master branch, but there are quite a few issues still remaining. Check out the pull request at https://github.com/celluloid/celluloid/pull/55 Mostly the issues are surrounding deadlocks, detectable or not. It is quite a blast once you get further into the bowels of Celluloid and somehow figure out what is happening. I am currently hanging in Christchurch, but will be in Wellington from Saturday 16th of March. I will be hoping to finish this off at RailsCamp too. After that, I will be in Auckland for a few weeks. Anyway, have a look and don't be afraid, I didn't really know much about all of this before digging in.
