Ok. The point is: can we imagine of working with original author to
merge back those new features / fixes / whatever you made?
Otherwise, we can consider this a fork from those libs but bugfixes,
fixing security issues and eventually merging released code from the
"vendor" into your forked code will be up to you.

For example, curl released few days ago a security bugfix for the
version you seems using; Fedora (and I think other distributions)
already fixed the lib; having a forked version you are basically on
your own for this kind of things. Of course I did not check actually
HOW you use the curl code, so it is perfectly possible that you are
not affected by the problem.

I think our fix to curl should be cleaned up a little bit before submitting it upstream,
i'm affraid it will be rejected otherwise.

it maybe possible to push our fixes to osip2 to the original tree (these are pretty small fixes) it is impossible in case of eXosip because of the issue of copyrights (the original author want to have all copyrights assigned to him and our modifications to eXosip are pretty substancial that it poses
a problem).

anyway, you state ortp is also modified, but I determined that at
least the src/ directory has no modifications: am I missing something?
It is extremely strange, unless the author accepted in his tree my modifications which i've submitted to him couple of monthes ago. But i've got an impression that he has declined them because his original code evolved in different direction meanwhile....
