It doesn't compile because you have a version of Qt that wasn't
compiled with RTTI. You need to recompile it with that feature.
Search the mailing list it has already been discussed a lot of times.

I see Julien has done a good job updating a lot of documentation, but I think
the "How to build it link" link on the front page really should be updated to
this new doc now. And we might want to educate people about the difference
between classic and ng more prominently.
Also, I cannot submit tickets or comment on existing ones without a login,
