You are right, I had used that page but missed the
PH_FORCE_AUDIO_DEVICE forcing.. sorry. :/
btw, on that page:
PH_FORCE_AUDIO_DEVICE=pa: scons -f SConstruct.ng phapiwrapper=1
enable-video=0 qtwengophone-ng
should be:
PH_FORCE_AUDIO_DEVICE=pa: scons -f SConstruct phapiwrapper=1
enable-video=0 qtwengophone

How did you launch the app? Did you launch it from Terminal? For
