Hello,
I mentioned in a previous e-mail that we’re now focusing on the
development of the NG, which means a lot for us, since this new
sofpthone embodies our pledge to use open standards to encourage
interoperability, to preserve the independency of the application vs the
services, and to engage into a multi-OS approach.
Everyone has put a lot of effort in building different pieces of
software, fixing bugs, helping each other on the mailing list and on the
IRC channel and many other things i can't remember. I'd like to thank
you very much for putting all these efforts in contributing to the
OpenWengo community.
We also have read a lot of emails from active members of our community
wondering, discussing, and arguing about the above mentioned subjects;
some of you often questioning the viability of our venture and our
goals, since financed by a market driven corporation.
NG means innovation, and we think that you all have great ideas to share
in order to further innovate. We'd be very happy to hear about them, and
we thought that we could ask you the top 4 new or innovative (as not
existing yet) functionalities you'd define as mandatory.
We’ll start by using this mailing-list to gather your answers, if
needed, we’ll develop some sort of online survey tools. Please, write
your answer using the following template :

We'll publish a summary of this thread next Friday, in the morning. The
most interesting ideas will be integrated in the WengoPhone NG's roadmap.
