Hello,

I read in some of the previous threads that the pocket pc development has stopped - I'd like to volunteer to head the effort to finish the development if someone from Wengo would be kind enough to tell me what to do and give me some documentation on what's been done up to now.
I think that the plan is to port NG to Pocket PC, but i may be wrong. Regarding that, i think it is correct to say that nothing has been done yet.
In addition, I plan to integrate libgaim into my version of NG which is using a separate gui - not jabber. If anyone else would like to help in either of these efforts, please let me know.
I don't understand what you mean by "my version of NG", could you please tell us more about this? As for libgaim integration, a Wengo developer is working on this too, it would probably be better to work with him.

Also, I don't think I received a reply to my question about why STUN was removed from the code and the firewall set to one particular type.
AFAIK, it's a bug. Setting the nat type to auto in the phapi's SIP wrapper here http://dev.openwengo.com/trac/openwengo/trac.cgi/browser/trunk/wengophone/src/model/sipwrapper/phapi/PhApiWrapper.cpp#L166 might be better. I created ticket #331 with a one-liner patch attached to track this issue. Could someone review and test it?

All the best,
