To me, the best way to get involved into any OpenWengo's project while being able to get feedback from developers quickly is to come on our IRC channel, which is #openwengo on FreeNode servers. Feel free to join, we'll be glad to help you get involved, even if you already contributed significantly to WengoPhone.
I also want to work on the pocket pc port but is someone ready to transition the old code over to some of us now?
I'm afraid i don't understand what you mean by "transition the old code over to some of us". Could you please explain it a bit further?
