it seems that I will find some time in the next month to work on a larger
contribution. Since I am
very interestung in H.264 support i would like to ask about the state of the
implementation. I
noticed some wrappers in the phapi directory, if I understand correctly H.264
transmission should
be possible by using x264 for encoding and ffmpeg for decoding (seems to work
in MPEG4IP). In this
context I would also like to ask about the aims and scope of wifo-plugins and
wifo-plugins-sdp,
and in how far an integration of H.264 should find its place into one of these
branches.
