I am a participant in Open Wengo Code Camp. I have been trying to compile wengophone-ng on Windows XP for more than a week now. After installing all dependencies ..listed on the website and setting all environment variables ..i m getting this error. I have been unable to get around this.
fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file ' QtUiTools.lib'
In my first attempt I had installed qt 4.1.2 directly from an executable. Then after getting this error I checked the LIB folder of Qt (Qt\4.1.2\lib) and cudn't find any lib files there.
Then I compiled qt from source and still it made .prl and .dll files only. No lib files still.
Can somebody please help me solve this problem. I checked the mailing archive and found that this error was reported earlier but cudn't find a soln for it there.
Also compilations of wengophone and Qt both take huge amount of time on my computer(in hours). Is this normally the case ?? Which platform is best suited for the compilation (debian may be ..)..so that I can get it compiled as soon as possible so that I can start working on the code further.
Thanks in advance
Mayank

+1.
That's really an annoying "feature" of this Mailing List: when I hit
Reply on a mail from any ML I want to reply to the thread _on the
list_, not privately.
That is the purpose of a mailing list: public discussion on topics.
