Hi all,

For the Summit, I have been thinking about how we might structure the
two days, and I have come up with a very provisional agenda that we
might follow - all feedback on this is welcome.

Day 1:

09:00: Conference opening, welcome (David Bitton & Dave Neary)
09.30 - 10.30: Round-table brainstorming on
strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/threats (SWOT analysis) for the
OpenWengo project
Break
11.00 - 12.00: Break-out sessions on specific aspects of the SWOT
analysis (for example, SIP support or packaging or audio - but I'm
thinking off the top of my head)

Lunch

14.00 - 14.30: Reports from break-out groups
14.30 - 15:30: Presentations from projects/companies working with
OpenWengo (10 minutes each) - feedback on the project, suggestions for
features, problems to be solved

Break

Perhaps some sight-seeing? A visit to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame, maybe.

19:00: Party, sponsored by Wengo - dinner and drinks somewhere in Paris

Day 2:

09.30 - 10.00: Presentation of provisional Roadmap for OpenWengo
10.00 - 10.30: Discussion of roadmap, brainstorming on feature priority

Break

11.00 - 12.00: Roadmap discussion continued

Lunch

14.00 - 14.15: Definition of priorities for another set of break-out
sessions
14.15 - 15.30: Break-out sessions

Break
16.00 - 16.30: Reports from break-outs
16.30 - 17.00: Conclusions from meeting

The conference is important for two things - fixing a common vision for
the OpenWengo project after the 2.0 release, of course, but more
importantly to foster the social aspects of the OpenWengo project, allow
people to get to know each other and grow a real community around the
passion and vision that we share. Most of the work that gets done in the
conference will probably happen outside the conference room, during the
party on Thursday evening or during lunchtime.

So I have planned lots of break time, some sight-seeing time for people
who are visiting Paris, and of course a party on Thursday night.

Cheers,
Dave.
