Hello Lukas,

The tag : release-wengophone-2.0-2006-12-14

is the tag currently used by wengo.

I think that unfortunately we missed the real release of 2.0. Mainly because
2.0 as it is is not fully working on Linux / Mac OS X.

This is something I would like to repair with 2.1 which will have a true
release in the next weeks.

I am in the process of syncing the trunk and the 2.1 with tanguy so that we
can all work on the 2.1 release without worrying on lost features.

Jerome,

Thank you for this information.

Which branch is the ‘stable’ or ‘released’ branch? Is 2.0 now ‘released’ or
is there no such milestone.

Subject: [Wengophone-devel] trunk isolation

Hello,

Lately, work has been spread over 4 main branches :

- 2.0

- 2.1

- Trunk

- Coip

At the same time, work has been active on the scons / cmake build systems.

This has led to a bit of uncertainty on the stability of all this for many
of you.

I am in the process of resynchronizing these 4 branches with Tanguy and lead
the cmake port to its final state while protecting the 2.1 milestone.

2.0 is stopped (very very very low commit rate) but is not yet moved as a
tag. All features/debug from 2.0 have been included in 2.1

2.1 and Trunk will get closer and closer in the next few days even though
there are reasons I do not want to totally merge them together as of today.

Coip is a work in progress that will be merged in due time inside the Trunk
(in a few months)

In the next few days, on the trunk, you should only see synchronization
commits ( = isolation of the trunk until it is close enough to 2.1)

I hope this clarifies the branches state a little,

Jerome
