Seems to me that we can find people that can use Openwengo without problems on QT 4.2. So, i'm not confinced that the problem is (only, at least) inside QT.

In tickect 1053, i remember one person used 4.2. But almost all the others found problems. It will be quite useful if you can try to find more information, since nobody (using dbg) could find any erros, include myself. Maybe a callback not firing, the main loop not reaching some condition, etc.

I, personally, appreciate your effort. Things gone easier on 4.2 for me (if it is working).

Can you point to specific Qt issues affecting wengophone, possibly in
their tracker [1] ?

If not, I'd rather start looking into wengophone code to find the
broken behaviour before claiming it's someone else fault...
