Hello all, I am trying to test the generic SIP account functionality announced by Xavier on the 2nd of February. I wish to use Asterisk as a SIP registrar with no proxy server.
When wengophone starts up, I choose `Other (for power users only)' and I am presented with a screen to configure my profile. I fill out "Account name", "login", "Password", "Displayname" and "Server" entries and no other. Unfortunately clicking the "Connect" button does nothing at all. In fact wengophone generates no network traffic. I understand that this feature is not complete, but I would like to test it all the same. I am guessing that I could edit a config file by hand to achieve what I want. Could anyone please help me.
