API has been changed because WebcamDriver class is a Singleton and
this class is used by the C API of owwebcam in which we removed the
"target" parameter. In this case there's no need for such a paremeter.
However I agree that it should kept in case we change the underlying
API, as you should have done.
If you want rework webcam API please take a look on http://
www.mbdsys.com/opensource/verona which
has much cleaner version of webcam api
I'll have a look on that. However we should share our code and create
a webcam API used by both of us.
P.S. It would be great if folks on the list did discuss
modifications they are planning to do,
this could accelerate developpement 5-fold.
You're right, I should have talk about that on the mailing-list
before changing API.
