Since I don't give up that easy, I've compiled the current 2.2 head without portaudio (-DOWSOUND_PORTAUDIO_SUPPORT=OFF), with default values for the other options. Compilation and linking seems to be OK without significant error messages.
However, the binary seems to be both deaf and mute. I trust my os and hw, since other applications e. g. Skype seems to be OK. My feeling for this is that this is something related to what/how alsa devices are used. In the terminal window I can see (long lines!): (debug) 14:22:51 void alsa_play_file(const char*, const char*, int*): playing /usr/share/wengophone/sounds/callclosed.wav (warn) 14:22:51 snd_pcm_t* alsa_open(const char*, int, unsigned int, int): cannot set sample format: Invalid argument (warn) 14:22:51 void alsa_play_file(const char*, const char*, int*): can't open alsa device (debug which doesn't look so good. I've tried the PH_FORCE_AUDIO_DEVICE tricks described in the wiki with no success (but some coredumps instead...) Any clues out there?! --alec _______________________________________________ Wengophone-devel mailing list [email protected] http://dev.openwengo.com/mailman/listinfo/wengophone-devel
