Basically, the alfa does not seem to be that stable. I've had other basic problems on Fedora/386 (no sound, crashes) both with the "official" binary version and the packaged one. I guess this is the time to file bugs and/or communicate with the developers here or on IRC. (I've filed two bugs, and a bogus one about permissions).
During the weekend I've updated the build process, I now think it's using the same flags as the official build process. I've also fixed the Fedora ldconfig issue. New versions will be available every morning. Hopefully they'll become better over time. cheers, -alec >----Ursprungligt meddelande---- >Från: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Datum: 25-08-2007 17:37 >Till: <[email protected]> >Ärende: Re: Ang: Re: [Wengophone-devel] 2.2 nightly packages... > > > >> Date: Saturday 25 Aug 2007 >> From: JP Renaud <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> > Date: Saturday 25 Aug 2007 >> > From: Alec leamas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> > Thanks for trying... :-) >> > >> > Actually, what's missing is not the library (it's there), but >> > some ldconfig to do while installing.
