That assumes that we're going to upgrade to use libpurple before 2.2,
and that would need us to have a ticket open on the subject ;)

For what it's worth, I'm hesitant about upgrading to libpurple, given
teh amount of time we lost with the upgrade to libgaim beta 6 before 2.1
- we do have some local modifications to libpurple which would need
merging, and there are some outstanding unexposed features of some chat
protocols (for example, registering on Jabber, or setting the server &
port for MSN) which would probably be part of the upgrade.

So it's not quite the minor "s/libgaim/libpurple/g" that you might think.

In any case, we should have a ticket for the upgrade, and it's probably
a good idea to do it sooner rather than later, but I want everyone to
realise that there is a cost involved.
