Hello, You might remember my proposal to get rid of PortAudio support on Linux a few weeks ago [1].
Our most fluent Alsa hackers (hi Ludovico, hi Andreas, hi Alec!) confirmed it was the right way to go, so I am going to eventually remove it this afternoon, unless someone objects, of course.
