I am using Drupal on a number of websites I manage and it gets the job done
well. WordPress is IMHO definitely more blog-oriented.

Drupal allows to create static pages as easily, plus it has loads of
extensions (for galleries, forums, taxonomy-based access, wiki, I believe I
have seen a TRAC-integrating one, too). Plus it allows to have per-user blogs
just as well.

I would go for Drupal, although my experience with WP is close to none.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers
Mike
