Follow-up Comment #7, bug #9532 (project wesnoth):
Confirmed, comment #6 is correct. (I always use "map settings".)
(I filed a related ("remembering the preferences") issue as bug #9568 earlier
today.)
While testing this, I experienced an interesting segfault (twice reproducible
so far), I'll make a comment about it at bug #9029, though I expect I might
need to file a separate report about that.
