Follow-up Comment #5, bug #7998 (project wesnoth):
What makes me pretty sure this is a bug at SDL level or below is that it only
happens when you override the default driver. If it were really a Wesnoth
bug, you should have the same symptoms under all SDL drivers.
I suppose the bug could be Wesnoth-*specific* in that it's being tickled by a
call pattern that uses the SDL API in a way the designers weren't expecting.
But that's more likely to be an SDL design or documenration problem than a
bug in Wesnoth's own logic.
